Zhejiang to pilot creative agriculture in 20 counties

The Green Rural Revival Program and Creative Agriculture Seminar was held in Qingtian county, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 11.

Hosted by Zhejiang's Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, it was announced during the seminar that the province will pilot creative agriculture in 20 counties, cities, and districts.

These pilot areas will focus on exploring and practicing new models and approaches for the development of creative agriculture to promote the modernization and development of agriculture in the province, according to the announcement.

Creative agriculture refers to using creativity to lead agricultural development. It expands the functions, production space, and industrial value of agriculture through innovation in concepts, technology, and models, promoting the high-quality development of agriculture with a new agricultural format.

The pilot project mainly includes cultivating creative agriculture entities, cultivating more than 10 types of creative agriculture production and operation entities in each county, and training 100 creative agriculture professionals.

It also involves promoting creative agricultural technology, creating imaginative agricultural scenes, and exploring creative agricultural models, with the establishment of more than two creative agricultural models in each county.

It was also announced at the event that the Zhejiang Provincial Creative Agriculture Committee and Zhejiang Provincial Creative Agriculture Alliance were established, providing support for the future development of creative agriculture.
