A video showcasing a man from Rui'an meticulously crafting replicas of China's four renowned towers using thousands of bamboo sticks recently went viral, sparking awe among netizens.

Transforming his eyeglass shop on Yongning Avenue, Wuhan, into a mini architectural wonderland, the shop owner, Chen Meng, brought the Yellow Crane Tower of Wuhan, Tengwang Pavilion of Nanchang, Yueyang Tower of Yueyang, and Guanque Tower of Yuncheng to life with his bamboo stick creations.

Chen, originally from Rui'an, ventured into business in Wuhan decades ago. With no prior experience in crafts, he stumbled into the hobby out of boredom. Starting with simple items like pen holders and photo frames, he gradually moved on to crafting intricate structures like pavilions and ships. Four years ago, he undertook the ambitious project of replicating China's four famous towers.

Beginning with the Yellow Crane Tower, Chen relied solely on images from the internet to guide his creation process. Despite the lack of blueprints or tutorials, he relied on his intuition and visual judgment to meticulously construct each tower, spending over 20 days on the Yellow Crane Tower.

Each tower in Chen's collection is meticulously crafted, with the Yellow Crane Tower being the tallest and the Guanque Tower having the largest horizontal area. Despite some limitations in replicating intricate details, such as curved eaves, due to the nature of bamboo sticks, Chen's creations exude a sense of authenticity and pride.

Despite receiving inquiries for purchases following the video's viral spread, Chen refuses to rest on his laurels. He remains dedicated to his craft, currently working on another landmark, the Longshan Tower, with plans to continue creating Chinese architectural wonders in the future.
