The 135th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, commenced in Guangzhou on April 15, running until May 5. A total of 742 Wenzhou enterprises showcased their products across 1,589 booths, including 465 branded booths.

This edition of the Canton Fair sees Wenzhou's companies spread across 41 exhibition areas, with significant presence in footwear, electronic and electrical products, luggage, stationery, and automotive parts. The fair has expanded its cross-border e-commerce showcase, with six Wenzhou companies participating, showcasing the city's adaptability to evolving global trade trends.

At the 134th Canton Fair held last October, Wenzhou's presence was also robust, with 750 companies and 1,567 booths. The Wenzhou delegation received over 13,000 overseas buyers with intended purchases exceeding $290 million at the previous edition.

This year's Canton Fair reflects a renewed focus on innovation, digitalization, quality assurance, and supply chain stability, promising ample market opportunities for Wenzhou enterprises. Local commerce departments have actively supported companies in participating in various Canton Fair events, including product debuts, industry-specific sessions, and seminars, aimed at enhancing visibility and networking opportunities.
