The 7th Zhejiang (Wenzhou) International Import Expo took place at the Wenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center from Nov 21 to 23. Co-hosted by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang province and the Wenzhou municipal government, the event highlighted the city's role in global trade.

Mayor Zhang Wenjie announced the opening of the expo, joined by senior provincial and municipal officials. Diplomats and representatives from 11 countries attended the ceremony and participated in related trade activities.

Several cooperation projects were signed at the event, covering Spanish ham procurement, Australian wine distribution, cross-border shoe imports, copper supply, and cosmetics and leather processing, all linked to Wenzhou's bonded platforms.

This year's expo featured 13,000 square meters of exhibition space divided into four themed zones: national pavilions, consumer technology, lifestyle products, and premium food and beverages. A total of 292 companies from 38 countries and regions participated, showcasing products such as health supplements, jewelry, imported cars, beauty items, and specialty foods. Notable exhibitors included Poland's Apis mead and Czech jewelry brand GT.

As a signature event for Wenzhou, the import expo continues to serve as a platform connecting global consumer goods with the regional market.
