Wenzhou Polytechnic has established a joint education institution with Niagara College, expanding international cooperation in higher vocational education.

The new institution, officially named the Wenzhou Polytechnic Niagara Engineering Technology Joint College, operates as a non-independent legal entity under Wenzhou Polytechnic and is located on the university's campus.

In its initial phase, the joint college will offer two diploma-level majors: computer network technology and industrial robot technology. Each program will enroll 90 students annually, all of whom are included in China's national higher education admissions plan. The planned total enrollment in the near term is 540 students.

Students who meet graduation requirements will receive a higher vocational diploma issued by Wenzhou Polytechnic, along with a two-year college diploma from Niagara College.
