As the 15th China International Garden Expo has opened in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, the Ouyue Garden in Wenzhou Garden Expo Park has been bustling with visitors, drawn by its presentation of Wenzhou's gardening landscape and series of intangible cultural heritage activities.

Ouyue Garden, a 12,500-square-meter landscape inspired by a panoramic scroll by Wang Zhenpeng, a Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) court painter, lies at the heart of the park. With artistic abstraction, the garden is a reinterpretation of the painting's poetic depiction of the scenes and bustling life of Wenzhou.

During the expo, Ouyue Garden hosts regular intangible cultural heritage activities, blending ancient crafts with the garden's architecture. Pan Haibin, a representative inheritor of Yueqing Stone Carving from Wenzhou, offered hands-on workshops, guiding participants in stone carving and seal engraving, showcasing the unique charm of the traditional arts.

Interactive experiences enhance the garden visit, with actors in traditional costumes engaging with visitors and providing photo opportunities.

In the courtyard, the Nanxi Opera performances captivate audiences with their melodious singing and expressive acting. Visitors gather to enjoy these performances, immersing themselves in the distinctive charm of this ancient art form originating in Wenzhou.
