Wenzhou received 5.38 million visits during the seven-day National Day holiday, ranking third in Zhejiang province by total visits, with overnight stays accounting for 53.6 percent.

The Shuomen Ancient Port Archaeological Site Park hosted a garden party, with more than 60 shops, over 20 costumed performers, and more than 20 parades; Wenzhou Garden Expo Park staged an international-style festival, an autumn fair, and an immersive show; and Jiangxin Island's upgraded night tour featured a 12-meter giant fish-shaped lantern, drone light shows, and datiehua (molten iron fireworks).

Museums offered hands-on experiences, with Wenzhou Museum presenting an exhibition on the Tibetan intangible cultural heritage art from Zamtang county in Sichuan province, while a wooden movable-type printing workshop in Ruian offered free printing and traditional papermaking experiences.

Old scenic areas added new scenes, as Yandang Mountain's Lingfeng ancient pavilion staged Yueju Opera excerpts and Lingyan scenic area combined mountain scenery and classic flying performances.

More than 40 markets across the city, including the Qingdeng Market in Ouhai district and the Air Music Party at Sanyang Wetland, boosted nighttime shopping and entertainment.
