The event to bring together young scientists was held in Zhoushan from April 25 to 26, bringing together over 20 young scientists and local industry representatives to explore innovations in green petrochemicals and advanced materials.

The event unveiled 52 key technical challenges from Zhoushan's enterprises, spanning green petrochemicals, clean energy, and marine equipment. Participants shared their advanced research while businesses outlined operational bottlenecks, resulting in 18 preliminary partnerships.

"Our company focuses on new materials. Participating in this event is mainly to explore new directions for our company's development, to meet experts in the field of new materials, and to further expand our team," said Liu Lingru, a representative of Zhoushan Tengyue Hangtian.

In addition, the delegation of young scientists conducted in-depth inspections of Zhoushan's green petrochemical and advanced materials industrial parks, engaging directly with enterprise leaders to understand production processes, operational challenges, and specific technological needs.

It bridged the gap between academic research and industrial application. The upcoming programs will expand their focus to key regional sectors including smart shipbuilding, sustainable aquaculture, and digital marine technologies, providing customized solutions to drive local industrial advancement.

This event establishes a vital platform for translating cutting-edge scientific research into tangible industrial progress, marking a significant milestone in Zhoushan's technological transformation.
