Winter sports tourism is gaining momentum in Zhejiang, with ski resorts reporting strong visitor flows during the Spring Festival holiday amid rising public interest in ice and snow activities.

At Shanglianggang Ski Resort in Ningbo, crowds have filled the slopes for the Year of the Horse holiday. The resort features 16,000 square meters of artificial snow and includes a ski zone, tubing area, and children's playground, with a capacity for nearly 3,000 visitors.

Wang Zhongjie, head of the resort's ski school, said the venue has been promoting skiing among primary and middle school students. The resort has partnered with the Ningbo Roller Skating Association to help students transition to ice and snow sports, organizing group training sessions during the holiday.

Eleven-year-old Zhou Qiyou, a participant in a winter ski camp, said his roller-skating background helped him pick up skiing quickly, with him descending the slope and braking confidently on his first run.
