A sea-rail intermodal train carrying 12 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of outdoor leisure products departed from Lishui's Songyang Railway Station on Feb 25 for Ningbo Zhoushan Port, which will eventually be shipped to Europe and enter major supermarkets.

The shipment is from Zhejiang White Horse Leisure Product in Suichang Economic Development Zone, which has seen overseas orders continuing to grow during Spring Festival, with new orders already scheduled through May.

Seventy percent of the company's staff have returned to work following the national holiday, ensuring timely delivery, with the company having already achieved sales revenue of over 30 million yuan ($4.38 million) this year, up about 10 percent year-on-year.

Lishui mainly exports steel products, wooden toys, and outdoor goods, with an annual production volume exceeding 20,000 TEUs.

By utilizing Ningbo Zhoushan Port's port resources, Lishui has established a dry port and expanded sea-rail intermodal routes from the Lishui, Jinyun, and Songyang railway stations to Ningbo Zhoushan Port.

It has also developed a new multimodal transport corridor via Wenzhou Port that extends into the mountainous areas, allowing local enterprises to pick up containers, deliver goods promptly, and export directly.

Lishui Dry Port operated nonstop during Spring Festival, facilitating the export of 14 TEUs of daily chemical products from Nice Group and over 30 TEUs of wooden toys from local companies to markets in Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia.
