Yiwu accelerates global market expansion in 2026
Since the beginning of 2026, Yiwu, the "World's Supermarket" in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, has been actively helping enterprises to explore international markets and secure orders.
Yiwu Henfair Exhibition Company will arrange for nearly 100 enterprises to participate in 22 overseas exhibitions in the first quarter, said General Manager Jia Liping. These will include mature markets like Germany, France, Italy, and the United States, as well as emerging markets such as Mexico and Panama. The focus will be on apparel, stationery, toys, gifts, beauty products, and daily consumer goods.
Jia emphasized the strong enthusiasm among enterprises, including both traditional trade companies and niche market leaders, all of which are confident in their ability to secure orders.
Furthermore, the 2026 Yiwu Fair's overseas exhibition in Indonesia is scheduled for May 12 to 14. "Indonesia, as ASEAN's largest economy, is home to a large potential customer base. We plan to set up 200 booths for foreign trade enterprises targeting the Southeast Asian market," said Chen Nuo from the Exhibition Company of the Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, who is in charge of the Yiwu Fair's Indonesia exhibition.
The Yiwu bureau of commerce highlighted plans to organize five delegations with over 300 enterprises in the first quarter. Throughout 2026, it aims to help more than 1,500 foreign trade enterprises participate in overseas exhibitions, fully supporting companies in securing orders, expanding into new markets, and stabilizing expectations.
