As temperatures rise, thousands of cherry blossoms are bursting into bloom at the Lyuye Shanju scenic area in Ningbo's Jiangbei district, painting the hillsides with vibrant spring colors.
The scenic spot, home to more than 100,000 cherry trees spanning nearly 100 varieties — including Yoshino cherry, Chinese red, and weeping cherry — has become a popular destination for spring flower viewing.
Early-blooming cherry blossoms are now on full display, forming clouds of pink and white across the landscape.
Lyuye Shanju is also the largest moss phlox viewing base in eastern Zhejiang, with millions of flowers expected to blossom in early April, adding another spectacular layer to the spring scenery.
Mid-season cherry blossoms will begin blooming around March 20, while late-blooming varieties will follow in April, extending the flower-viewing season for visitors.
