Innovation drives Longding tea industry in Quzhou
Kaihua county in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, has been actively advancing its tea industry by focusing on innovation and upgrading.
At the production facility of Zhejiang Yunfeng Biotechnology, new-style tea drinks are rolling off the automated production line. These innovative beverages, combining Kaihua's Longding tea and shihu, or the stems of Dendrobium nobile, a prized herb in traditional Chinese medicine, have gained widespread market acceptance.

In Kaihua's Huabu town, workers at Yixiao Food (Quzhou) are busy producing instant tea powder.
The company integrates deep processing, production, and sales of tea, specializing in instant tea powder, matcha, tea extracts, and solid beverages. Additionally, it offers over 20 innovative products, including tea capsules and concentrated tea liquids, which are exported to Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe.
At Zhejiang Longding Tea Co's Huaniaojian store, staff craft new-style tea drinks, drawing numerous visitors eager to experiment with new flavors.
As new-style tea drinks have become consumer favorites, Kaihua tea companies are capitalizing on this burgeoning trend by enhancing store experiences and offering customized tea menus, attracting young consumers and driving the innovative development of the Longding tea industry.
