Zhejiang's foreign trade hits record high in Jan-Feb
Zhejiang province's total imports and exports reached 989.01 billion yuan ($143.41 billion) in the first two months of the year, up 17.1 percent year-on-year and marking a record high for the same period.
Exports rose 21.4 percent to 768.51 billion yuan, while imports increased 4.3 percent to 220.5 billion yuan.
Yiwu recorded 173.56 billion yuan in total foreign trade in the first two months, up 52.8 percent year-on-year.
Quzhou recorded 14.84 billion yuan in total foreign trade in the first two months, up 32.7 percent year-on-year, the fastest growth rate among prefecture-level cities.
Ningbo has taken the national lead in cross-border e-commerce exports through special customs supervision zones, with total exports reaching 1.52 billion yuan from January to February, up 87.5 percent year-on-year.
