The 2026 Qiji China: Huangdi Jinyun Motorcycle Carnival Week took place from March 24 to 29 in Jinyun county, Lishui, Zhejiang province.

Over 5,000 motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country gathered in this South Zhejiang gem to celebrate a grand event that blended motorcycle culture, Huangdi (the Yellow Emperor) heritage, and rural charm.

The carnival featured a wide range of activities. A large-scale motorcycle parade allowed riders through the Xiandu scenic spot and surrounding local villages.

Other highlights included a ceremony where hundreds of riders paid tribute to the Yellow Emperor, stunt performances, test rides, and a movie screening. New additions such as an off-road experience day further enriched the program.

A key development was the rollout of plans to build Jinyun into China’s leading motorcycle-friendly city. Twenty-six specialized motorcycle stations have been set up, creating over 300 kilometers of high-quality riding routes.

To improve travel convenience, the country's first high-speed rail motorcycle station was launched at Jinyun High-Speed Railway Station. This initiative enables seamless connections between train and motorcycle travel. A civilized riding campaign was also promoted during the event.

The carnival brought together sports, culture, tourism, and commerce. A co-branded backpack inspired by Huangdi culture was launched, blending traditional motifs with modern riding gear design.

Through these efforts, Jinyun continues to leverage its unique motorcycle tourism brand to promote high-quality urban development.
