Zhejiang Cableway Aerospace Technology, a company based in Lishui's Qingtian county, showcased several advanced drone models at the 2026 World Drone Congress held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian from May 21 to 23.
The exhibits included the world's largest four-axis multi-rotor drone, the Weifeng C-300, a tandem-rotor helicopter powered by China's domestically produced 600-kilogram-class engine, and an octocopter with 16 propellers capable of carrying 400 kilograms.
The company has previously taken part in developing China's first Antarctic scientific research drone and the country's first miniature oblique aerial photography system.
Three self-developed models — Weiqingtian UH-600, Weilong C-400, and Weifeng C-300 — meet a diverse array of needs, including emergency rescue, engineering lifting, material delivery, and high-altitude construction. Their advanced technology and stable performance earned high recognition from professional visitors.
On the opening day alone, Cableway received over 100 enterprises from across China, with more than 20 expressing an intent to work with the company. Total intended purchases exceeded 40 drones, with signed letters of intent valued at over 20 million yuan ($2.94 million).
