Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport in East China's Zhejiang province will add 40 additional weekly takeoffs and landings from July 1, strengthening connections with several major Chinese cities and offering travelers more flexible flight options.

The airport will increase services on routes to Wuhan in Hubei province and Xiamen in Fujian province, while restoring daily flights to Yantai. A route to Foshan will also be expanded starting July 10.

Operated by China Eastern Airlines, the Wuhan service will operate three times a week. The Xiamen route will operate three to four flights per day, including morning, afternoon, and evening flights.

Meanwhile, China United Airlines will increase flights between Zhoushan and Foshan to three flights per week.
