The 2026 Cross-Strait Media Leaders Zhejiang Tour launched on June 25 at Hengdian World Studios in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, with media executives and influencers gathering to foster media collaboration and mutual understanding.

For these professionals, this tour is an emotional journey to seek their roots, enhance their identity, explore and understand Zhejiang, and engage in face-to-face dialogue and exchange of ideas.

"Cross-Strait exchanges benefit both the Chinese mainland and Taiwan," said Wang Feng, chairman of China Times, a Chinese-language newspaper published in Taiwan. "Through mutual understanding, media professionals can promote peaceful interactions between people on both sides."

Ni An, an influencer from Taiwan, emphasized the responsibility behind the lens. "As content creators, we not only document but also convey truth and goodwill," she said, adding that she believes sharing personal experiences can reveal the warmth and beauty of the mainland to friends in Taiwan.

The five-day event includes visits to Yiwu, the "World's Supermarket", to experience the vibrant pulse of global trade, and attendance at the Cross-Strait Youth Micro-Drama Competition awards ceremony, showcasing creative exchanges and collaborations.

These professionals will share Zhejiang's dynamic development with audiences through diverse formats, nurturing understanding and strengthening ties through interaction.
