The ratio of urban to rural residents' incomes in Zhejiang province is expected to fall below 1.7 in the first half of 2026.

In the first quarter, rural residents' per capita disposable income reached 15,934 yuan (about $2,354), with its growth rate 0.9 percentage points higher than that of urban residents.

By the end of 2025, Zhejiang had developed 136 county-level agricultural industry chains with annual output exceeding 1 billion yuan each, including 12 worth more than 10 billion yuan.

The province also developed 20 new specialty products, including matcha, fresh lotus seeds, sturgeon caviar, and Cangnan lychees.

In Jinyun county, Lishui, support teams have outlined 48 measures across seven areas and helped implement 16 projects, including road improvements, 5G upgrades, home-based elderly care, fitness and cultural facilities, and environmental improvements.
