A shipment of high-end toys from Duisburg, Germany, arrived on Aug 4 at Jinhuanan Railway Station in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, via the China-Europe Railway Express. The toys were then transported to Guangzhou through Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, marking the debut of a logistics corridor that integrates the Zhejiang China-Europe freight train service with Jiaxing's air transport to enable rapid delivery.
This initiative utilizes the advantages of Jinhua's China-Europe Railway Express Assembly Center and Jiaxing's air cargo system, pioneering a domestic distribution link between railway and air transport.
Jinhuanan Railway Station and Jiaxing Nanhu Airport have established full-chain data sharing, integrating all logistical steps into a unified system, significantly reducing transit time and enhancing logistics precision and efficiency.
This intermodal service strengthens logistics support for businesses, with the entire rail-air transport process traceable and transparent, providing real-time visibility from the source factory to the final customer.
The rail-air transfer time is under 5 hours, with the entire domestic distribution completed within 10 hours, boosting efficiency by over 20 percent compared to traditional road methods.
