Wuzhen Scenic Area in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, will launch a series of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day activities from Sept 20 to Oct 7, blending local customs with popular cultural experiences across four main sections.

The Water Theater will host nightly performances by musicians as part of "Wuzhen Melodies · Moonlit Serenade," offering an autumn musical experience in the water town.

At the wharf of Lingshui Residence, "Dimensional Fantasy Bazaar · Sacred Waters Fair" will combine the water-town setting with Chinese-style culture, anime, and gaming, with themed weeks and activities including cosplay dances, rock band performances, and open-mic sessions.

On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, the scenic area will hold "Mid-Autumn Rite · Moon Worship," featuring traditional moon-worship rituals, a lantern walk across its bridges, mooncakes, and blessing activities. Visitors can complete interactive tasks to receive fresh-meat mooncakes.

"Hall Full of Osmanthus · Family Banquet" will feature autumn food events, including banquets and seasonal drinks such as osmanthus rice wine and mulberry wine.

The program will also feature morning tea, art exhibitions, and intangible cultural heritage experiences such as blue calico printing, rubbing, lacquer-fan making, and silk reeling.
