Liandu district in Lishui, Zhejiang province, is accelerating the development of a high-end valve industrial cluster.

At Lishui Ouyi Valve, automated lines run at full capacity for ball valve orders bound for Saudi Arabia. Rooted in Liandu for 17 years, Ouyi Valve exports 70 percent of its products to over 50 countries, including Germany, Italy, and Turkiye.

In high-end overseas markets, Ouyi competes through precision and standards. It recently imported large integrated turning and grinding centers for eight to 64-inch products, keeping ball precision errors within 0.02 millimeters — above international standards — and raising efficiency by 50 percent.

Upstream, Zhejiang Chaoda Precision Manufacturing focuses on castings and forgings. Its 1.12 billion yuan ($166.92 million) project, producing 20,000 metric tons annually, began trial production in April and reached designated scale three months later, strengthening the supply chain.

Liandu's valve industry now boasts a full chain spanning castings, forgings, precision processing and sales. It has 129 industrial enterprises above designated size, with 2025 output exceeding 9.44 billion yuan and average annual growth of 25.98 percent over three years.

According to the district's economic and information bureau, Liandu will continue attracting projects, cultivating enterprises and transforming manufacturing to support intelligent upgrading.
