Wuyi county – administered by Jinhua city in East China's Zhejiang province – covers a total area of 1,577 square kilometers. By the end of 2020, the county had a registered population of 345,174 people and had jurisdiction over 15 towns and three sub-districts.

Wuyi was the first "Chinese hot springs city" in Zhejiang province named by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The hot springs in the county are famous for their large flows, high quality and suitable temperature.

Relying on its unique natural endowment, Wuyi has been active in developing eco-friendly and organic agriculture. 

The county has been named as the hometown of China's organic tea, China's organic national medicine base and the hometown of China's famous tea.

In 2020, the county's GDP was 27.13 billion yuan ($4.2 billion).
