The Zhejiang Wuju Opera Show was staged at the Chaktomuk Conference Hall in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from Feb 6 to 7, as part of the 2026 Happy Chinese New Year Celebration program.
Artists from the Zhejiang Wuju Opera Troupe presented classic excerpts, highlighting the opera form's integration of martial arts and vocal performance, as well as its emphasis on both singing and acting.
The program also featured segments of Cambodia's traditional Apsara Dance, creating a joint stage for artistic exchange between China and Cambodia. The cross-cultural presentation drew sustained applause from the audience.
