The 399.7-meter-long CSCL Globe container vessel docked at the Yongzhou Container Terminal in the Jintang port area of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, East China's Zhejiang province, on Feb 11.

According to Zhoushan Customs, CSCL Globe is the first vessel on the Asia-Middle East Loop 5 to call at the Jintang port area. It is also the largest container vessel to berth at the terminal since it opened and is expected to unload 11,600 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). The ship will then transport 2,500 TEUs of cargo to countries in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

In January this year, the Jintang port area handled a container throughput of 425,900 TEUs, marking a 43.4 percent year-on-year increase and setting a new monthly record.
