The Xiazhu Lake Fantasy Valley scenic area and the Yunshang Caoyuan (Cloud Meadow) scenic area in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, have been awarded the national 4A-level tourist attraction status.

Located in Deqing county, Xiazhu Lake Fantasy Valley is a comprehensive tourism destination offering sightseeing, leisure, adventure, and intangible cultural heritage experiences.

The scenic area features magic shows, outdoor adventure programs, and workshops offering traditional crafts such as indigo dyeing, woodworking, and pottery. It also includes seasonal flower gardens and themed accommodation options.

Located at an altitude of 1,168 meters, the Yunshang Caoyuan scenic area is known for its cool summer climate, with average temperatures about 9 degrees Celsius lower than that of the urban areas.

The scenic area offers cliff adventure experiences, alpine grassland views, and a theme park inspired by xianxia — the Chinese fantasy about immortals and martial arts — featuring immersive cultural performances, interactive activities, and night tours.

The two newly rated 4A-level attractions add new destinations to Huzhou's tourism offerings, providing visitors with more summer leisure options that combine natural landscapes, cultural experiences, and outdoor activities.
